A story of hope in adversity, a picture of faith with no fear, this magical moment in Wales's sporting history is something that needs to be kept alive, to embrace the old and to educate the young.

The seed was planted a year ago, when we came up with the concept of restoring the memory of Cardiff's triumphant FA Cup win, with the production of a commemorative piece we have fondly named "The story with no words".

As the seed was developed it became apparent to us that this was much more than just another piece of memorabilia, it was a chance to convey to the world a beautiful story.

We had always been fascinated about 1927 and its meaning to Cardiff , but as we began to scratch the surface a truly spellbinding story began to emerge, a story that demands to be heard.

In this age of technology so far removed from back then, it opens a great avenue for us to harness all the magic from 1927 and bring it smack bang into the future for everyone to see.

This website is not just a tool for selling, but a vehicle and portal of information, where people can come together and enjoy the magic of an occasion that was in danger of being forgotton.

We believe this victory belongs to the people, thats why we have come up with an idea that will enable the community at large to recapture and share this golden piece of history via the internet.

Friends of 1927 is a collective of people with a passion and love for this momentous occasion. It's a chance for those that matter to contribute and share in all things 1927.

We have already started to accumalate some amazing artefacts that we want to share with you, the original programme of the day, the whereabouts of Fred Keenors football shirt etc.
